The Twilight Zone – S01E28 – A Nice Place To Visit (1960)
A gangster that is shot to death and his perception of the life afterwards in (supposedly) heaven is not really what he might think he is… or is he really in the place he thinks he is?
This episode isn’t particularly interesting for its major part, but the plot twist made it worthwhile watching it.

Uninteresting episode about an old black boxer who is about to go into a boxing game he can’t win. His son (or something) makes a wish that his dad isn’t hurt. That wish seems to come true in a very strange way…
Weak episode.

A space shuttle goes boom when re-entering the earth atmosphere, bringing with it some kind of alien spore which starts to spread like H1N1 (also known as the bacon plague). People start to act strange, showing no feelings and stuff like that. Also going apeshit on the other people who has not yet been infected with this spore thingy. Almost like zombies you know, except they don’t look like shit – they still look the same. Cool stuff. Anyway, the “disease” is spread by these infected people e.g. vomiting on other people (yes, vomiting).
Apparently a remake of Invasion Of The Body Snatchers (1956), Invasion Of The Body Snatchers (1978) and Body Snatchers (1993). Who said remakes was out of fashion?
Starring Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig, you have like your regular zombie movie without all that makeup stuff for the living dead people. This does not mean that there’s an absence of these delicate graphical details at all – there are some, but not enough to be disturbing your appetite (well, the vomiting may have that effect perhaps…).
I really don’t know what else to write about this. Kidman kicks a kids’ ass by throwing him into a couch. There is a quite wild car chase. People get beaten up and stuff like that. Maybe a bit overexplicit in the end, not leaving much for your intelligence to draw conclusions from. The conclusions are served right there for your pleasure (or apathy, which may be a better choice of word). That brings the shit down a bit.
Not bad, but not great either. The Invasion was okay.
