I can define this movie in two words: Not Funny.

I was expecting a kickass comedy with Will Ferrell, André Benjamin (better known to most of you as André 3000, one of the members of Outkast) and Woody Harrelson.

Too bad it wasn’t a kickass comedy. The comedy and jokes included in the Semi-Pro are often a bit too far-fetched and not really funny at all, even if I did get them. It is irrelevant if the story is good or not when watching a comedy – as long as the movie makes you laugh or smile it is good and serves its purpose.

I won’t even bother writing about the story (Jackie Moon (Ferrell) is a basketball player/coach/pr manager/everything else and must save his team from being put down). Ah crap, I did it anyway.

So to make this story short: Not worth seeing.
