The Orphanage (2007)

“El Orfanato“.I presumed I already had reviewed this crappy movie. But I guess I didn’t bother since it bored me to death. All my friends hyped this sucker so god damn much, that it was supposed to be soooo frightening.
It wasn’t. It was a pile of boring bullshit. And I am not shitting you (pun definitely not intended). There was like one scary scene, involving a kid (yes, kids are always scary) and a doll. Look at the picture at the bottom of this post. That’s it. Now you’ve seen the most scary shit in the movie. Terrifying, isn’t it? (The fact that there’s nothing to this movie but crap…).
The rest of this movie is just pure bullcrap. It is boring, the main characters is hysterical (in a mentally insane way) and there’s no tension at all for the viewer. I can’t believe that critics really liked this poor excuse for a movie.
I might be a bit harsh though. If I wasn’t expecting a horror movie I guess I would have liked it more. But then again – if it wasn’t a horror movie, then why the hell should I bother seeing it at all?
Do yourself a favor and let those bleeding softhearted people waste their time watching this crappy filth while you and I go grab ourselves a horror movie which really is frightening (like 28 days later) and have a damn good time.

Scary – No not much. Good – Hell yeah! Especially since it’s a debuting director.
Pretend-to-be-a-horror-flick-but-not-able-to-scare-me ==> IT SUCKS!
Debuting director or not, it still is a pile of horseshit (well… I think that I really dislike it because I was suspecting to crap my pants of terrifying horror scenes. And all I got was some boring drama. Talk about being dissapointed! ). So horseshit may be a bit harsh. It is still boring however.
